The tour begins by moving from the Historical Center to the La Popa Convent, which offers a great view of the entire city. Then we will visit the San Felipe de Barajas Fort, also known as the San Felipe Castle, which is the largest fortress built by the Spanish in South America. The city tour of Cartegena continues by visiting some of its tunnels, as well as the statue of Don Blas de Lezo. Then we will return to the city center and tour its most important monuments such as the Clock Tower, the official entrance to the Walled City. Throughout the tour exploring Cartagena, the guide will tell interesting facts about the history of this fantastic city, as well as its legends and stories of pirates.
NOTE:
In groups of more than 15 people, the visit to the Convent of La Popa is replaced by the Sanctuary of San Pedro Claver.
